About Music

Music is one of my favourite hobbies. I love listening to music, I love playing music, and I love performing it.

Some instruments I play are:

I started learning music when I was around 3 or 4 years old. My grandmother had a cool guitar and taught me some.

My primary school gave everyone basic classes on reading music and tried to get everyone involved in choir too.

I also joined a folk group in my area. I played the acoustic guitar and tin whistle for the concerts. I also did one duet and sang with the group.

In secondary school, I performed in a few concerts and also studied music for my exams. Around this time, I started learning the lyre.

Acoustic guitar: My main instrument.; It is a guitar that can't be plugged in like the electric or semi acoustic guitars.
Lyre: A small string instrument Ancient Greece is known for.; Some believe the lyre was invented between 2,700 and 3,200 BCE.
Flute: I use an Irish traditional flute made of plastic.; It has a rice, deep sound.
Kalimba: Also called a Mbira or Thumb Piano.; It is made of tiny pieces of metal on a wooden block.
Ocarina: A wind instrument often with 12 finger holes.; Is usually ceramic.
Tin Whistle: An Irish instrument.; Often used in Irish traditional music.
