Travel
There are many options for travel around waterford city as well as to other counties. Waterford has plenty of well paved roads but a great part of the city are the cheap and quick bus services around the city provided by TFI.
As a student you can get a student/young adult leap card. This cuts costs by 75% in some cases and makes it easy to go to different places.
The process to get a leap card is quite straightfoward:
- Go to the leap card website.
- Put in your date of birth
- Upload a document to prove it. Eg: passport, driver's license, birth certificate
- Take a picture to use on the card (the website will ask for camera permission; say yes)
- Fill in any other details you need to fill in such as name and address
